Our Delivery of Care mission

Highly skilled multidisciplinary team

The Home Manager will be supported by the Regional Manager, Quality Manager, Deputy Manager, Charge Nurses, Registered Nurses, Senior Care Assistants, Care Assistants, Activity staff, Events co-ordinator and occupational therapists to ensure each service user receives the necessary care in accordance with their assessed needs. Care will be in partnership with the associated multidisciplinary team and allied health professionals.

Additional care

All service users are provided with a General Practitioner within proximity to the home. Vision call provide regular eye care and the Podiatrist/Footcare team visits the home regularly to attend to foot care. There is also a yearly review from the Trust Dental Department and patients are also seen as and when required throughout the year by the appropriate multidisciplinary team and allied health professionals. Private arrangements can be made in addition to NHS services.

Plan of care review

Each service user is allocated a Named Nurse to oversee the implementation and review of their plan of care. The care team involve the service user, their representatives, and relevant members of the multi-disciplinary team, when making decisions about the delivery of care.

Catering, Admin and Maintenance

Dedicated kitchen

The Home has a dedicated kitchen fully equipped to meet the preferences and needs of service users and Environmental Health Legislation. The catering team ensure that fresh food is prepared daily. They provide normal and specialised diets, operate a three-week rotating menu and provide choice at each meal. Service users will meet with the cook and discuss food choices based on likes and dislikes, snacks and drinks are available 24 hrs daily.

Full time experienced administrator

One full time experienced administrator will be employed to deal with all areas of the administrative function of the home. This includes all aspects of operations, financial administration, human resources and internal/external communications.

Maintenance officer

The maintenance officer is employed to carry out health and safety checks, fire and water checks, maintenance, and minor repairs within the home. The maintenance officer is trained to high standard of risk management.
